I thought this interior wasn't going to make it to the US. But it DID!!! It's the Pop interior in black, with red accents and the floating "500" on the backs of the seats. It looks GREAT! Especially in a red car. With the red glossy dash.

Warning: bright colors ahead:

I LOVE all that red!

(getting all excited here as dealers start to put up the vehicle photos)

And here's an Easy in red with the grey/red interior!

The red interior accents really liven up black or grey.

I wonder if the advertised price of the first car was real. It was almost $6k less than the second one. Of course, that Easy is loaded with stuff (sunroof, etc...)...

The first car IS the "entry level" Pop without extras. There are many stick Pops advertised at that price. Everywhere. It just doesn't LOOK like "entry level" in any way, shape, or form. I think the floating 500 fabric is jazzy, sporty, outgoing, lively. It's FUN!

There is one (or many) at every dealership, Pop sticks, 19,900:

None of those have pictures yet, though.

I think I like the "500" floating fabric better than the stitched stripes fabric in the Easy. I'll have to see more pictures though.

From the two original links, you can get an idea on the differences in size of the touch screen too, since the Easy has the larger one.

Edit 2: Fiat site says Starts at $19,100, Car and Driver review (and most other reviews) say Starts at $19,900.

Meanwhile, found a really early number car for $19,000:

Mocha Latte Easy with the beige/black interior. I like this. The beige looks very light, almost like the ivory color in the regular 500s

Especially when you see the interior and the body color in the same photo. Interior fabric much lighter than the Mocha Latte.

It is my favorite so far. I would want this, with the big sunroof. Stick. Whee!

MSRP = $19,100 plus $800 shipping is $19,900.

Looks like the Pop is available only in Abarth colors, white, black, red, and two greys, light grey and dark grey. On the UK Pop, there is also a grey/black interior, and pairing that with the light grey car with black roof, it looks really good. And that's when you notice the red 500 on the seat backs, they stand out. That neat seat material works with all the colors that the Pop comes in. And all the Pops have the matching glossy dash. A dash that is actually cleanable!

While looking around I noticed most dealers got only ONE Pop and ONE Lounge and the rest were Easy. The Easy comes in more colors, but I think the Pop is going to be very POPular.

Yay! I was just looking at those colors on the UK site! How does the fabric feel?

P.S. I want a t-shirt with floating 500s and Ls on it. It should have the floating 500s on the front and the back.

We piled into that car after lunch and blasted through Baltimore in it. I sat in the back seat along with one of the engineers who is 6'2" and we had plenty of room. The person who sat in front of the engineer was also quite tall, at least 6'2", so the room is really impressive. The interiors feel fine, actually, the whole car has a substantial quality feel to them. They ride well and the handling is entertaining and they stick to the road.

Excellent! You know, when I was shopping for Fiats, I wondered if I should hold out for the L, just for the space options. I really don't need a bigger car, the 500 is fine for my needs. But there are so many people who really do NEED more space, and this is the car for them.

It's kind of odd, in that you usually have to get a big car to get big interior space. This one seems to have big interior space, with a smaller exterior size. I think some of the interior space perception is the cab forward design.

The guys in the front seat aren't bumping shoulders or bumping their head against the roof. But then I look at the picture of the L in a parking space, and it doesn't look that big on the outside.

The wheels. They have the 500 center cap, yes? But I don't recognize them, are they an optional wheel?

Powdercoat on the standard black wheel, no? Lots of 500s are customized this way. I love FIAT.
