Looks like the sun shade is not quite as opaque as I thought it was.

Twin rear view mirrors? What's that about?

Center armrest for the back seats. Good.

Good find. I've been curious about the rear seat room, and these photos show that there is plenty more than the 30.7 inches listed here (http://www.fiat500usa.com/2012/11/2014-fiat-500l-specifications.html). I assumed that the 30.7 had to be incorrect as my Honda Fit is listed as having 34.5 inches of rear legroom, the Mini Countryman is listed at 33.8, and the Kia Soul is listed at 39.0. All three of those vehicles are much shorter than the 500L.

Like the beige top/dash seats. That looks pretty good. Beige, grey/beige, grey. I can handle the grey with the beige accents, warms it up inside.

I didn't realize the recline for the back seats was so reclined. That's great! Could nap back there, or stare up and out the glass roof.

Wish there was more brown inside the Trekking model.

P.S. Y'all notice the big 27 in the window sticker? That means the vehicle should be getting a combined mpg of 27, and I believe that vehicle is an automatic.

I'm looking at my window sticker for comparison for my automatic lounge, which is 30 combined, 27 city, 34 highway. And if 27 is for the 500L automatic, then the stick 500L should get around what I get in my 500 Lounge?

The steering wheel shape reminds of those oversized Wal Mart steering wheel covers you see applied over the wheel of a 12-year-old Pontiac Grand Am.

Funky, for sure. Not sure I'm "feeling" it. Character for days though so that has to be a good thing. Vehicles in this category, style-wise, are usually about as inspiring as pre-chewed peanut brittle.

Twin rear view mirrors? What's that about?

One is the rear view mirror, the other is for keeping an eye on what the kiddies are doing in the back seat.

Looks like a switch for either power lumbar support or side bolster adjustment next to the heated seat switch.

I keep seeing the Fiat logo shape. Like in the headrests. The regular 500 is very rounded, including the headrests. The next size up, the 500L, kind of expanded on all the round parts, making them more square, but not completely square. Smoothed edges, like on sea glass. It's "soothing" to the eye.

Ohhh! Great idea! Adding to the eyes parents already develop in the back of their head. haha! I noticed it could also be used to pick up more cars than just the regular rear view mirror. Either way, looks like a useful addition for the driver.

Lots of people will be happy if there is the option to adjust the back area. I can't have anything that pokes me in the lower back. So I really like the idea that it can be used by those who want/need it and not used by those who don't want/need it.

Best pics I've seen. More variations in color and options. I saw it in person at the NY auto show. I did not fall in love with it, but seeing it on the road and maybe driving it will change that. One not pick I have is the two tone steering wheel. To me looks like a cheap steering wheel cover.

Wonderful pics - thanks for posting. I'm sad that they didn't carry over the loud seat fabric. Or maybe that's the Pop. Although it looks like they got at least one Pop and one Easy.

I think the package as a whole 1) looks like it fits in with FIAT's design flavor and 2) like a versatile, well-equipped, spacious small almost-station-wagon.

Yes, me too. I like the Euro fabrics.

I'm liking this thing more and more, though I still have to see it in the flesh, and I will. It kind of reminds me of the mid 80's era tall wagons, ala Honda Civic wagonvan, and the Toyota Tercel wagon, though a bit more grown up than those, but those were quite capable little cars for their day.
