Hey guys, Anyone Familiar with the WOTbox?

No lift shifting = blip the clutch grab a gear leave the pedal at the floor. nice pops-flames on shifts too.

programmable 2step! - clutch in gas to the floor whappapapapapapappopbangboom! dump the clutch and go.

all for $199. After all these years I have seen these I havent heard any bad experiences with them.

Whos in? I reached out to N2MB racing a while back and they said it should work in our cars no problem.

Would be cool for that initial launch and 1-2 shift at autocross.

I was more thinking the sound of a 3k+ rpm 2-step launch at every stop light combined with a huge fireball on every shift, but it would work in Autocross great im sure as well!, lol

Yeah no kidding... I skipped coffee and went str8 for this thread. Coffee no longer needed. How's it work, and how's it install? And fireballs would require a catless DP, I assume?

Depends on your class whether it would be legal. As always, consult the rules first. Locally, it may not be an issue but get into real competition and you're on your own...

And for those of you with piggybacks or eventual tunes, make sure there's no interference from one to the other.

Can't wait to hear stories about how guys no lift shifted and now their tranny doesn't work. I am familiar with these WOT boxes from the Cobalt world and the biggest thing with the no lift shift is that it is hard on the transmission when you use the no lift shift. If you want the car to sound like gun shots going off do a no lift shift and take for ever to shift. lol

True, but I think his 2-step is helping keep the boost up between stabs and keeping things wet too. To your point though, this is easy to do on a stock abarth when cold too. :-)

Hahaha Nice. I like to do that when someone is following me a little too close. Floor it in 4th or 5th just till the boost goes up and then let off and on really fast a few times. *Pop Pop BANG!* I need to make a video of reactions. I'll have to try it in a tunnel next time too.

Since the Abarth already makes so much noise and pop and cracks on its own I'd rather go for this: http://www.hotlicksexhaust.com/

This looks like a lot more fun than just some added pops and cracks. :D

The 2 step isn't being utilized here. It only controls ignition at a set RPM point.

You need to be catless to run one of those. I don't feel it would work on a Fiat, they're mostly for 8 cylinder cars.

I had a N2MB box installed on my SRT-4, it worked flawlessly and their support is fantastic. Would not hesitate to buy another one.

While I would love to shoot fire at rice cakes and total bros who think their eg civic with a body kit and fart can would be amazing. Wouldnt this type of system put imense stress on our "heavy duty" transmissions? I assume it would have a lot to do with how aggressive you have the system set up.

Dumping a clutch at high power is very hard on input/main shafts. Not something I would recommend without strengthening or swapping out parts, that's for sure.

Would you still get the loud bang/ fire without wot shifting, like under normal shifting

That depends purely on your tune and amount of gas pedal used.

these have been popping up for sale on the abarth facebook buy and sale group. People have been running these no problem. I like my car so I wont put it through the abuse these can do.

you also need to be catless.
