Hi everyone,
This is my first post and also the start of my long build thread
I just picked up my 2nd fiat and first Abarth this week!
Its Grigio with Leather, beats, the 17" wheels, and comfort and convenience package

I also have a 12 sport we bought when the first dealer around opened.

So far for the Abarth I have ordered
Rally Armor mud flaps
EUROCOMPULSION R3T INTAKE

Im in the process of figuring out what exhaust I want to get.

After that I am going to wait until someone comes out with a tuning program that is not just a piggy back

So far I'm very impressed with the car, I have had my fair share of modified cars and I have a feeling we will be able to get a lot of need stuff for the Abarth soon.

Congrats and welcome to the forum Mark! I had a Sport but traded for my Abarth, I'm sure you'll enjoy yours even more as time and the mods come about.

Do you guys know what kind of housing the turbo has on the hot side? Any chance for a open dump? I'm looking all over for the exact specs on the turbo but can't find them anywhere

My Mud flaps just showed up today! Super pumped but this weather is killing me.
I installed the front ones because they are easy, then it started to rain again.
So ill be waiting until the weekend. Ill have a bunch of pictures then, my dslr is dead i always forget to charge the battery.
Thanks again chris for the sweet flaps

Did u get the 1448 or 1446?
A hot dump in our tiny engine bay sounds, well, hot! :-)

I have the 1446. They didn't have one with the options I wanted with the 48. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the two.
Other news! Intake shipped today/last night. Super pumped for it to arrive.

I am now wondering about a hot dump also, either a long tube that dumps outside of the engine bay or having the hot dump welded into the exhaust post cat.

If anyone had a OEM down pipe that they would be willing to let me have I would love to try and make it happen.
Then who knows maybe someone else would pick up the idea!

Which are you going to do? A recirculation dump into the down pipe post cat?

I would love to use a cutout to make it go from either open or recirculated but I do not think they come in that small of a size.
Sometimes it gets annoying to hear the dump open all the time.
This is from the turbo blanket thread

I dont think this is our turbo, if I am wrong please correct me

Work computer is blocking the PDF. But if you get the ATM HCI I am not sure you will hear the dump over that anyway, haha. I dont know the correct size was thinking 36mm?

It says its a GTX3582r and I really do not that thats it.

Did you look on the turbo itself to see? May have to remove the heat shield, I've never looked for it to see

Switching intakes allows the turbo noise to be heard and I agree on the school girl comment as well as this...

Consider COs to get rid of the wheel gap, improve stance, appearance, and most of all, handling characteristics (w/little to no body roll).

Not to big a fan of the coilovers that are out right now. If I do anything I would get custom valved shocks and springs.....

BCs are great. Bilstein just came out w/ one available through EC. Fortune is coming out w/ their in a few months. Nice to have a fat budget for suspension only. Look forward to seeing your custom set up.
