Well after lots of research and going back and forth to the dealer me and my wife finally settled on a copper 500T! I wanted the Abarth but the sports buckets weren't comfortable for her :( But with a little time and the difference in price I'm planning on making it as close to an Abarth as I can get! Plans: R/R Rear Swaybar, Rims/Tires, Lowering Springs, and a tune/box when it becomes available, FMI

I had to order it strait from the factory cause the only copper turbo around was a base model and we wanted a more fully loaded version. I can't wait!

Once a tune becomes available the 500T will be quite the bargain. Sleeper mode engaged

congrats! Since the Abarth doesn't come in that color, your only other option would have been to buy an Abarth, swap the passenger seat for a turbo seat, pay for a new paint job, and then you'd have 30K into it!

Does the T's engine have the same internals with just a different tune? What about the suspension...is it even close?

The suspension is the same as the 500 Sport. Engine is the same as the Abarth.

FYI ... I already use the R/R ECM for Abarth on my 500Turbo. I had issues at first because thats how impatient I am ...until I ran in to a thread by Daytona 500 and how he adjusted his springload on the wastegate actuator on his Abarth. I decided to do the same. Guess what the ECU relearned and accepted the piggyback!

Running 15psi strong, with 18psi spike max, AFR where its supposed to be.
I am confident I can take on a stock Abarth :)

Throw on some coil-overs/intake and you are more than good to go. O yea dont forget the muffler delete!

I have just over 5k on my 500t and have loved every mile of it, seriously considered the abarth but didnt have incentives on abarth at that time. your wife will love it! great commuter car you can also have fun with on the weekends
