Hey everyone, just made the plunge today, and I do mean plunge! Traded in a '12 loaded Prius for my Abarth Cabrio, so a little upside down, or maybe a lot! But a lot more fun!

I'm not sure of the official name of a Gray Abarth with the gray roof, but I call it the double grigio! I'm going on my first rally tomorrow up through Palomar Mt, CA. I live close to there and usually ride through on my VFR 800, so it'll be fun.

I wanted a 500 because it's cool, and for the meets. I went to a few Element meets when I owned that, and nothing goes on socially in Prius land. They don't even blink their lights or wave. Boo.

My wife and I just found out that we might be having twins. I figured the Harley is out the window, so might as well get the Abarth now! :)

No options except for mirror caps & sticker. Might end up taking the sticker off.

One of the first "double Grigio" 500s I have seen, as I stated elsewhere on the forum, best color choice possible, congrats! (For the 500 and the twins) ;)

Perfect wheel match right there. This is one of my favorite colors for the Abarth.

That's what all of the non Grigio owners tell themselves so they can sleep better at night. :D

I used to be the same...luckily or sadly as more health issues happen and life progresses I now sleep well. You could always trade you Bianco for a Grigio ya know. :D

Grigio was actually last on my list. I originally wanted Rosso for that mini Ferrari look :burnout:

I love the red Abarth, I owned a black car and knew I would not own a black or white, red is great but I like the stealthy look and smokey weirdness the Grigio offered, plus I drive another car which is red, not interested in two red cars. :) Gigante has a red Abarth, LOVE it, some mods and the wheels, it looks amazing in pics and even better in person!

There was a Rosso hard top in the showroom that I kept going over to look at. Plus it didn't have the front license bracket installed, which was a plus. I was going to get that one if they couldn't make the Cabrio's numbers right.

I'm already planning for the short shift kit and CAI. Had a blast on the Palomar Mtn run on Sunday.

It was nice meeting you out in Palomar! I love the "topless" Grigio..

This is a great looking Cabrio in person. Love the Grigio w/Grigio top. It's nice and subtle! Glad you could make it out to Palomar last weekend!

Thank you Tweak for the kind words... You know I really wanted a Grigio but already having a Grigio 500c the misses weighed in and I purchased the Rosso - the Rosso is truly an in your face color and I am enjoying the mods.

I was at the dealer today for the seat belt buzzer EVIC thing, and they had a Rosso Cabrio Abarth, it looked sharp.

Your insane level of OCD helps that red always look its best my friend. ;)

Finally got the windows tinted. Solargard Supreme 37. It is a bit reflective which goes well with the Grigio. I've been able to knock the A/C down from level 3 to 2. Also sprayed on the Raggtopp protector for the cabrio top, used the full can for 3 coats.

Next up is a good car cover, short shift kit, tow bar, and an intake.

Was searching everywhere for a photo of this combo. I went for it anyway and love it. 3 days in.
