View Full Version : 61's Bianco Photo Thread

Figured it didn't make any sense to continue creating new threads every time I added something to the Bianco so here begins my "photo" thread, albeit about six mods/additions tardy.

Goosed up the "boy racer" vibe of my Abarth with some local legendary courses.

These are the five tracks I intend to eventually enjoy with the Abarth, time and event permitting. Locals will recognize the layouts. Thought they looked awesome and added to my Fiat's vibe. No problem getting them to adhere to the 1080 white carbon fiber vinyl wrap.

Had the car detailed today and the shop owner was laughing....he said "I've never seen a car in here that gets more thumbs up from people. They all love it." He said the same thing last time I brought it in. Probably because there are so few Abarths down here. Nonetheless, interesting comment considering what ends up under their microfiber towels on a week to week basis.

Got a few more tid bits to add....carbon fiber mirrors, turbo blanket, getting the Go Pedal up in there, etc. Wheels coming up next I suppose...if I can ever make up my damn mind on what to buy. :frantic4yc:

51 going on 21 and lovin' it. :p

Give us some more shots.

I must confess I was confused what happened to the hood until you explained it, now that I get it I like it...lol. I sorta thought someone tried to spell something or was creating there own artwork for a sec, I have my own race track addition to my car but I don't want to clutter your thread with the pic.

Did you wrap your own hood?

Looks great! Love the tracks on the hood! Well played

Rule of thumb is to only place racetrack stickers from tracks that you actually have driven. Not trying to be harsh but just saying....
BTW Nice car!

Seriously Musk...you just didn't use the words "rule of thumb" and "stickers" in the same sentence did you? fingersx I'm a 51-year-old with a "death star" sticker on my trunk lid for Pete's sake. Surely there must be a "rule of thumb" about men my age having decals on their cars...especially a two-foot scorpion on their roof.

You know...the best part about getting old is with each passing year, I care less and less about "rule of thumbs," except of course...no socks with sandals. Gotta stick with that one.

But seriously, all but two of those tracks I've already driven...just not in my Abarth. I've chewed up my share of Florida tarmac with mid-engined two seaters over the years. My Abarth is only two months old and I can barely sneak two days off in a row from work this summer but eventually, I'll get back on the tracks.

More decals coming FWIW...big ones. :p

I think the stickers look awesome, keep em coming! Once I pull the trigger on an Abarth of my own, I'm going to steal this idea but in a different location :) And if its a rule to only use track stickers that you've driven, get Gran Turismo, and drive them...I've lapped the Nurburgring more times than I can count, so HA!

First let me say welcome to the forum.

Secondly, how about if you manage to do a work around of sorts? :D

Love that sticker Tweak....awesome. However, I went with this one to maintain the "storm trooper" vibe. Put it where lil Stig used to be.

A glimpse of what is down the road with my Abarth....I just can't decide if the black wheels are just too predictable and played out or should I go with red for that classic Italian white/red look.

...but yeah, the huge Abarth side decals are "en route." Should be in next week. that ought to do it for the Scorpion quota I think. :p I think if I can get it up to about 200 hp I'll be more than satisfied and will stop there. I'll let the other fellas chase 250-300. My priorities right now are the visual. Probably will end up buying a cf rear diffuser and front cf vents as well. That's on the agenda. I'm trying not to take the same path with this one that I've done with 25 others over the years...meaning more time modding 'em than actually floggin' 'em. ;)

Thanks! That sticker cracks some up but so many just don't get it at all.
The mini Stig is awesome as is the large Abarth shield decal, same decal setup I considered at one time but I am leaning toward a roof scorpion now instead. :)

This one always gets a comment and/or a chuckle, fun to watch people when they are walking around and checking out the car.

Latest decals....got the Death Star up and running....seems like a good match since the car seems to be so reminiscent of a storm trooper's helmet. :p

Added a bit o' Italy to the side with the "ripped by the wind" Italian flag logos. Put 'em close to the side lights for night time "ambiance." :)

As a result of that bit o' red in the Italian decal, I've decided to go with red wheels. Black was just a bit too predictable for a white car. Seems like all white cars have black wheels these days. Going with the rosso Sparco Assetta Gara, which should pop nicely.
After the matte black roll call decals are laid down, it should look somewhat like this...minus the elementary effort from Paint.
